Do you know that it is getting tougher and tougher by the day to feed our children right with the proper balanced diet?
Every day our children are exposed to and bombarded vigorously with all kinds of food advertising on media. In short, these are the six food groups that we should be consuming regularly on a daily basis. The portioning of these food groups are all regulated amounts and stated clearly by these authorities of whom I will not dwell in today. Maybe in my next posting.
In order to improve one’s health and wellness, we must all begin to consume more of these healthy, safe, and affordable foods, and reduce our intake of too much saturated fat, sodium and added sugars found commonly in most processed, packaged, and prepared foods, even takeaway foods from our favorite restaurants.

Obesity and diabetes are now prevalent in young age groups. It is a trend and a worrying factor!
